Local Company Promotes Better Sleep, Better Health Initiative
Aqua Plumbing & Air, a local heating and plumbing company, is excited to announce the first phase of the company’s newly-launched educational initiative to empowering and educating the community about home systems, safety and maintenance. From March 14 to March 20, the company invites the public to celebrate “National Sleep Awareness Week,” bringing awareness to sleep and its effect on overall health and well-being.
Created by the National Sleep Foundation, National Sleep Awareness Week began in 2008, to correspond to Daylight Savings Time, when most Americans lose an hour of sleep. According to the National Sleep Foundation, forty-five percent of Americans say that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities at least once in the past seven days, and that DST can be an opportunity to make beneficial changes to sleep routines, habits and environments.
