Two Best of Bays and Judge’s Choice highlight an exceptional showing
TAMPA, Fla. (March 8, 2021) — ChappellRoberts, one of Tampa’s largest advertising agencies, has been recognized for its creative strategy and strategic campaign executions across local and global awards programs — ending 2020 with a total of 11 competitive award wins in the fourth quarter alone. From the American Advertising Awards and the Tampa Bay Builders Association Awards of Excellence to the Graphis Awards and the Angel Award Competition, the Ybor City-based agency has taken some of the highest honors for advertising and design across competitions.

ChappellRoberts received one of the highest honors of the 2020 American Advertising Awards, garnering a Judge’s Choice recognition for its work on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp.’s annual report. The integrated agency also received two Best of Bay awards for Feeding Tampa Bay’s “We Stand” campaign and Kaufman Eye Institute’s “Laser Vision” print ad. ChappellRoberts received three Gold ADDYs and three Silver ADDYs: Gold ADDY Awards included DTCC’s annual report, Feeding Tampa Bay’s “We Stand” campaign and Kaufman Eye Institute’s “Laser Vision” print ad; Silver ADDY Awards included ChappellRoberts’ website, Northern Illinois Food Bank’s “Food for Thought” campaign and Waterset, by Newland, “Feel the Magic” campaign photography.
The Tampa Bay Builders Association recognized ChappellRoberts’ work for Waterset and Bexley, by Newland, for marketing and promotion projects ranging from video and website to collateral packages and campaigns.
“No one knew what would happen to Florida’s housing market at the onset of the pandemic. We pivoted quickly to launch new virtual marketing strategies and creative, and these competitive wins symbolize the sheer resiliency of our team and our clients,” said Christine Turner, president of ChappellRoberts.
Described as an “international bastion of excellence in design and visual imagery,” the Graphis Awards recognize skillful and competitive advertising on an international scale. ChappellRoberts’ work on the Kaufman Eye Institute’s “Upgraded Lenses” TV spot received gold recognition in the video and health care categories.
Conducted by the American Advertising Federation Fourth District, the Angel Award Competition honors the very best in public service advertising across Florida and the Caribbean. ChappellRoberts received five awards from the Angel Award Competition, including two Gold Awards for Feeding Tampa Bay — one for its “Imagine That” campaign and another for Feeding Tampa Bay’s website redesign. SPCA Tampa Bay’s “A For-All Shelter” campaign, Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research’s “Lions Eye Magic Eye” outdoor creative, and The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay’s “First to Respond. Last to Ask for Help.” campaign all received Silver Awards.
