This year, CL is excited to be partnering with Metropolitan Ministries on Pizza Week and a portion of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit. As a local, independent nonprofit, Metropolitan Ministries has provided services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency for at-risk and homeless families in Tampa Bay since 1972. The Ministries’ vision is to be America’s most effective and innovative caregiver for those in need.

Those taking advantage of Pizza Week specials can share a photo of their Pizza Week experience on Instagram to be automatically entered to win $400+ in gift certificates from select Pizza Week restaurants + $400 in CL Deals.

Here’s how to enter:

Step 1. Snap a photo of your delicious Pizza Week special.

Step 2. Post your photo on Instagram by adding your location at the participating restaurant. Tag @cltampabay & use the hashtag #TampaBayPizzaWeek

Step 3. Share your photo to be automatically entered to win!

Each location you visit and tag on Instagram automatically gets you an additional entry into the contest.

Plus, Creative Loafing is letting you decide who you think makes Tampa Bay’s Ultimate Pizza. All participating locations are up for the coveted title. In 2020, Westshore Pizza South Tampa took the title of Tampa Bay’s Ultimate Pizza. Voting for the 2021 Ultimate Pizza closes on Sun., Feb. 28th, at 11:59 p.m.

To take advantage of Tampa Bay Pizza Week from Feb. 18th through 28th, all you have to do is ask for the Pizza Week special. Complete special details, including takeout, delivery, online ordering options, and more  is available online now.

About Creative LoafingCreative Loafing is an award-winning alternative, weekly newspaper and website committed to providing Tampa Bay with an independent perspective, up-to-the-minute local news, and a comprehensive listing of local happenings. Creative Loafing offers readers’ unique monthly events and CL Deals, a locally focused platform featuring dining and event experiences at half-off their regular price.

Creative Loafing recently launched a donation-based membership group to build a community around readers and supporters at a time that local media across the country has been struggling, and to help underwrite work in the face of the devastating loss of revenue caused by the coronavirus pandemic. In March 2020, CL’s parent company, Euclid Media Group (EMG), announced layoffs at each of its seven newspapers. In Tampa, seven staffers across editorial, production, events and sales were let go. CL’s small, but mighty, team is dedicated to bringing you up-to-the-minute news. To learn more about CL’s donation-based Press Club, visit cltampa.com/supportlocaljournalism
