The Mike Evans Family Foundation’s Catch for Kids Campaign, Presented by Goldman Sachs, Benefits At-Risk Children and Families at Children’s Home Network in Tampa

February 7, 2021 by Post

Tampa Bay, FL – Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will be working hard on the field to gain yards
to help the Buccaneers win this weekend, but his efforts will also help those off the field. The Mike Evans Family Foundation’s Catch for Kids campaign, presented by Goldman Sachs, will benefit the Children’s Home Network. For every yard Evans gets, one item will be donated to help children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Plus, 13 additional items will be donated for every touchdown he scores.

In his three postseason games so far, Mike got 173 yards and two touchdowns, so the foundation already plans to donate 199 items to the Children’s Home Network. Evans experienced significant hardships throughout his childhood, which is why he and his wife, Ashli, started the Mike Evans Family Foundation. In addition to providing college scholarships to kids who have faced hardships, the foundation also supports women, children and families who have been impacted by domestic violence as part of its overarching goal to support, empower, encourage and motivate youth to understand that no goal is unattainable.

“We are beyond grateful that the Mike Evans Family Foundation’s Catch for Kids campaign will support the Children’s Home Network,” said Lauren Ruiz, event and community engagement manager, Children’s Home Network. “By providing the boys and girls in our care with items that meet their basic hygiene needs, they are able to focus on working with our team to change their lives and create opportunities for success.”

Kids from the Children’s Home Network recorded this special message for Mike.
“We are proud to support the incredible work of Mike and Ashli Evans. While approaching this monumental time in his career, community continues to be a priority,” said Nicole Pullen Ross, Goldman Sachs. “We are honored to stand beside the family in support of their efforts.”
People who would like to join Evans and Goldman Sachs in helping at-risk youth in Tampa Bay can make a monetary donation at www.mikeevansofficial.com.
