Coniglio and Polins have been partners at the firm since 2000 after launching a successful interactive agency in Ybor City in the early dot-com era. R. Patrick Hill was the founder and President of the foundational firm, Hill & Associates. Hill was a former Proctor & Gamble executive who traveled the globe building a successful boutique firm specializing in research and marketing.
The three joined forces and merged an interactive agency with a research-based marketing consulting firm to form HCP Associates. This business model integrated technology, management consulting, and strategic communications to advise a swathe of global clients on how best to market and communicate brand equity positions based on research-driven market data and cutting-edge digital tactics. HCP filled an industry gap by applying traditional research practices with strategic planning and advising clients on implementing best practices to build brands and support messaging and communications for clients worldwide.
