DETAILS: During these challenging times of job loss due to the pandemic and to technological advancement, learning new fields of industry can be helpful. With that thought, adults are invited to sign up to receive free training in the field of custodial services.
“The field of custodial services has grown tremendously in the last six months, namely due to the pandemic. Companies are hiring custodial/janitorial services now that never considered it previously,” said Josie Rocco, University Area CDC operations manager.

Serving the community for more than 20 years, University Area CDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
