The new programs are in addition to the more than 51 bilingual and Spanish degrees currently offered by the institution in the United States.
Ana G. Méndez University solidifies its presence in the United States with the launching of a modality in English for more than 40 degree programs offered at the university. This option for new and continuing students will be available in January 2021 at the three campuses in the state of Florida and its Texas location.
“Ana G. Méndez University maintains its vision of innovation and commitment to finding solutions to serve the needs of the community” said Dr. José E. Maldonado Rojas, Vice President of Academic Affairs at UAGM. “Our campuses in the U.S. serve diverse communities. Our goal is to exceed those unique needs that future professionals and the industry have.”
The modality taught 100 percent in English includes certificate programs as well as associate, bachelor and master’s degrees in high-demand careers like those in the areas of health, business, education, social sciences, communications and technology. With this new program modality UAGM expands academic options to its current offerings.
International students and local residents, specifically the newer generations made up of the children of immigrants, will have an alternative that, apart from being tailored to their own language, will offer greater possibilities for education by providing access to a faculty that reflects the diversity of the region. “The establishment of a new modality allows us to guarantee a quality education for all. This, through access to accredited programs and an international faculty, undoubtedly enriches the educational experience,” added Maldonado.
