TAMPA – Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP, is pleased to announce that attorney Philip Nodhturft, III has been named to the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for a three-year term.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides shelter and adoption services for homeless & at-risk animals. It also provides hospital and veterinary services for the general public. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay operates independently from the Humane Society of the United States and other local humane society chapters.
Mr. Nodhturft’s primary areas of practice are estate planning, including gift, estate, and generation skipping tax planning for high net-worth clients, and estate and trust administration. As an estate planning attorney, Mr. Nodhturft advises individuals, families, and business owners on strategies to achieve the conservation and transfer of wealth in the most tax-efficient manner. His practice includes advising on charitable giving options and strategies, business succession planning, family wealth planning, and asset protection strategies. As an estates and trusts administration attorney, Mr. Nodhturft also represents fiduciaries and surviving family members and beneficiaries in the probate estate and trust administration process.
