Free Holiday Meals and Toys for Uptown/University Area Residents

WHO:        University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation); Metropolitan Ministries 

WHAT:       Uptown/University Area residents to get free holiday meals and toys 

WHEN:       Thursday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

WHERE:     University Area Community Center, 14013 N. 22nd St., Tampa, 33613 

DETAILS:    University Area CDC and Metropolitan Ministries have paired up to provide full holiday meals and Christmas presents to approximately 600 Uptown/University Area families who signed up in advance. They will be distributed in a drive-by fashion and from a table, using masks and social distancing.  

Serving the community for more than 20 years, University Area CDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
