ampa-based fitness center, PURE South Tampa, is hosting “Pure Pride Mask-erade”, an outdoor cocktail party in support of HIV and Aids Awareness Month. The event will take place on Friday, December 4th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the PURE location on Gandy Blvd. The affair will feature live performances by Tampa Bay popular drag queen and host Adriana Sparkle, DJ entertainment by DJ Papi from Wild Out Entertainment, a champagne and wine bar, catering by Eddie V’s, raffle prizes, and free HIV and HEP C testing. Proceeds from the event will benefit Mercy House of Tampa Bay, a local organization that provides supportive housing for women and mothers with children who are living with HIV/AIDS.

Q: What is the goal of the event?
A: To raise awareness about HIV/ Aids support local charity Mercy House.
Q: Why did you choose Mercy House of Tampa as the beneficiary?
A: Mercy House is an organization that helps families living with AIDS/HIV find services and housing needs. We wanted to help a charity that was local and doing great things for the community, especially women and children.
Q: What can guests expect to experience at the event?
A: Pure joy at the end of a very rough year. We want our guests to feel good about helping their community and celebrating that love is love and we are all better together.
