Steven Barna, MD, CLCP has been appointed as Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Life Care Planning and the Rehab Pro Journal for 2020-2023. These journals are the official publications of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP), the premier multi-disciplinary organization of rehabilitation professionals. Dr. Barna is a member of IARP and its Life Care Planning-IALCP Section.
In addition to serving on the Editorial Boards of these journals, Dr. Barna served as lead author on “Chronic Pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome: A Review of Literature”” in the September 2020 edition of the Journal of Life Care Planning. Dr. Barna had the privilege of collaborating on this peer-reviewed publication with Dr. Virgil May, a nationally known life care planner and vocational rehabilitation expert. Dr. May is the founder and head of the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC), the certifying agency for Certified Life Care Planners (CLCP).
Dr. Barna is committed to the advancement of the field of life care planning as a certified physician life care planner. Dr. Barna is located in Tampa, Florida, but has been sought nationally for his life care planning expertise for both plaintiff and defense.
