TAMPA—The Tampa Tiger Bay Club will host a virtual panel discussion at noon on Nov. 20 about the 2020 elections in Hillsborough County.
It was a political year like no other: Hillsborough candidates were forced to change tactics in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and compete for funds and voter attention in the midst of a hotly contested presidential election in a battleground state.
Analyzing these and other aspects of the elections in Hillsborough County will be a distinguished panel of activists and journalists: Democratic political consultant Maya Brown; Evan Donovan, political reporter and anchor for News Channel 8; William March, political reporter for the Tampa Bay Times; Mitch Perry, political reporter for Spectrum Bay News 9; and Republican campaign consultant April Schiff.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be shown live beginning on tigerbayclub.com, Facebook (facebook.com/tigerbaytampa) and the Tampa Bay Arts and Education, Spectrum channel 636 & Frontier channel 34.
Tampa Tiger Bay Club President Yvonne Fry will moderate. Only Tiger Bay Club members may ask questions, which they can submit in advance by emailing them to executivedirector@tigerbayclub.com or during the meeting on Facebook. To become a member, go to https://www.tigerbayclub.com/join-tbc/
