Kids and grownups alike will be thrilled to know that SUN ‘n FUN has made special arrangements with Santa to make a special appearance at the Holiday Flying Festival and Car Show! Santa knows a pilot elf or two, and we have cleared him to land at noon on Saturday, December 5th at 12:00 p.m. to come say hello and collect his mail from all the boys and girls at the show. Be sure to be there for this super special socially distant meet and greet with the Jolly Old Elf himself! Santa will arrive at SUN ‘n FUN’s special North Pole right on the Compass Rose in the middle of the event. What are YOU asking Santa for this year? Admission FREE, parking $20 per vehicle. |

Delanie Potteiger Delanie is a Senior at Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School where she will be graduating this spring with her AA. She will then pursue a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Administration at Polk State College.Colin JimenezColin graduated from CFAA in 2020 and is currently working towards his instrument rating and will be attending Polk state College to major in Aeronautical Sciences. Colin is an Eagle Scout and plans to pursue a career as an airline pilot.Michael “Cole” RobinsonCole is currently a Senior at CFAA and will be graduating this spring. His career goals are to earn a pilot slot with the United States Air Force. |

You can now sponsor a student pilot who has soloed an aircraft through our “Buy A Brick” campaign! This is the first major step in obtaining their private pilots license. At our annual Solo to Success Ceremony scheduled for November 19, 2020, each pilot will leave their mark of accomplishment at the entrance of CFAA with a personalized brick with their name on it! Please consider a brick donation to help us recognize these fine young men and women. Donors will be listed in our Solo to Success program. |

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT |
A five year volunteer, Jim Albrand took over as Chairman of Registration in 2019 and handled all the admission ticket windows across the campus during the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. In addition, he has volunteered in admissions at a several year-round events and has helped the IT team with software development. This summer he has been working with our IT Department assisting with cabling and other projects. He has a full time job and still manages to donate his time to ACE/SnF.
