Body Electric Yoga and Athletic Companies recognize restaurant and bar workers with three weeks of free classes

November 6, 2020 by Post

The Body Electric Yoga and Athletic Companies are launching a new program called “BE Heroes” to recognize and lend a hand to local residents whose work lives have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the first step, The BE is offering three weeks’ worth of free yoga and fitness classes in November to local restaurant and bar workers. After that timeframe ends, participants will have the opportunity to become members of The Body Electric Yoga and/or The Body Electric Athletic, getting a free month’s membership in the process.

BE owners Jenny Miller and Katelyn Grady plan to offer the BE Heroes program to a different group of workers each month as the pandemic wears on. Coming soon: teachers and healthcare workers.

“This program is a way that we can help people who might feel worn out and may be short on funds,” Miller said. “Feeling healthy and taking care of ourselves is more important than ever, and helping our community is always a priority at The BE.”

To participate in the BE Heroes program, write to frontdesk@thebodyelectricyoga.com. For general information on classes and memberships, visit thebodylectricyoga.com or call 727-490-ZEN1.
