MD NOW® Brings Superior Urgent Care to Bradenton

November 5, 2020 by Post

Florida’s largest urgent care provider opens 4 clinics in Southwest Florida over the past month

BRADENTON, Florida: MD NOW® Urgent Care, the largest and one of the fastest growing providers of urgent care medicine in Florida, has expanded into Manatee County, serving patients at a physician-led, state-of-the-art clinic located at 4332 Cortez Road W. in Bradenton. The 4,200-square-foot facility is one of four new locations that opened on Florida’s Southwest Coast in October. The other three are serving patients in the Ft. Myers Market.
This marks MD Now’s first expansion outside of Southeast Florida and the Treasure Coast, bringing the total number of clinics to 55 statewide.
All MD Now clinics are open 365 days a year and patients are typically treated in an hour or less. MD Now’s physician-led services include:
• COVID-19 Testing
• Care for common illnesses and injuries
• Treatment for sprains, strains, and broken bones
• Injury care for cuts, scrapes, wounds, and abrasions
• Lab Testing
• Digital X-rays and EKGs
• Preventative Health Screenings
• Physicals for school, sports, camp, and work
• Vaccinations

“We are very proud to bring our brand of superior health care to the Southwest Florida market,” said Dr. Jeffrey Collins, MD Now’s Chief Medical Officer. “The area is in need of easily accessible quality urgent care options and we see an opportunity to make an immediate positive impact in the community.”
“MD Now is a convenient, less costly alternative to a typical emergency room or when you can’t get in to see your primary care physician,” said Dr. Collins. “We think residents in Bradenton and Ft. Myers will appreciate saving both time and money should they ever need treatment for common injuries and illnesses.”
MD Now accepts most major insurances, but for those who don’t have insurance or have a very high deductible, it is now offering a membership-based DirectCare plan to create easier access to affordable health care services.
MD Now DirectCare gives individuals and families access to an array of services for a set monthly fee starting at $99. In addition to this offering, MD Now is also providing free flu shots* while supplies last and COVID-19 PCR and antibody testing for a fee.
For more information on MD Now and its various services, visit www.MDNow.com or call 888-MDNow-911.
*Applies to seasonal quadrivalent flu shot. Regularly $40. Not applicable for high dose vaccine. Good while supplies last. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply. Not valid with any other offer. Offer valid until 03/31/2021.
