Sarasota, Florida – October 27, 2020 – Fawley Bryant Architecture recently completed the design and build of a 9,307 SF batting tunnel for the St. Louis Cardinals at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. The project served as a catalyst for upcoming improvements, additions, and renovations to the Cardinals’ spring training complex that will also be led by the Sarasota/Bradenton firm.
“Many organizations recommended the team at Fawley Bryant. As soon as we started working together, it was evident why,” said Dan Good, VP of Business Development for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball organization. “Their knowledge during planning and programming was crucial, and their 3D visualization tools helped ensure clear communication. Their support didn’t stop at design; it continued through permit documents, construction administration, and closeout. This team understands the meaning of service and I’m thankful for their partnership.”
The collaboration is the latest addition to Fawley Bryant’s growing sports portfolio that includes projects with the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Miami Marlins baseball teams, along with Gatorade, Under Armour, PBR Sports Performance, IMG Academy, Prince Tennis and Binghamton University.
Designed to provide convenience and accessibility, the scope of the project included building three batting tunnels and an adjacent structure to house restrooms, storage, a cart wash area, water and ice dispensary, and an A/V room for video coaching.
“We are proud to play a part in helping the St. Louis Cardinals compete at their highest level,” said Steve Padgett, Principal and Managing Partner of Fawley Bryant Architecture. “We worked closely with the organization and our partners to create a best-in-class, optimal training environment for the players and coaches to thrive.”
