Spring Hill Non-Profit Confirms 4th Annual Snow Bash! Fundraiser
Spring Hill— 10/06/2020 — The SEED Foundation of Hernando County is confirming snow in the weather forecast for Spring Hill this November! The 4th Annual Snow Bash event which traditionally boasts real snow at their annual fundraiser is confirmed to take place on Saturday, November 28th from 10AM-2PM at Sand Hill Scout Reservation, 11210 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613. Tickets for admittance and parking can be purchased online and in advance on their website www.TheSEEDFoundation.org for donations of just $5 per person, and $5 per vehicle for parking.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, The SEED Foundation felt this outdoor, holiday community event was integral to lifting the spirits of children and families in Hernando and surrounding Counties, now more than ever. It’s been confirmed that other area fundraising and community events which have featured real snow such as Dr. Unger’s Winterfest in New Port Richey and Grinchmas in Crystal River have been canceled for 2020. Snow Bash will be the only fundraising event between Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco Counties that will remain on 2020 calendars and bring snow to the area affordably for this one-day event.
The SEED Foundation Volunteers and new Event Consultant, Nicholle Fernandez-Shute, have ensured safety protocols will be implemented including following Center for Disease Control and Hernando County recommendations or mandates such as wearing masks during entry, hand sanitizing stations, and sanitization of sleds between use. The new Sand Hill Scout Reservation venue was also chosen because of its attractive open-air and vast acreage facility, allowing attendees to follow social distancing when visiting vendors and standing on lines for activities.
Because the decision to move forward with hosting Snow Bash had been delayed until Phase 3 was announced for our state on September 25th, the foundation is now in urgent need of securing sponsorships. “Donations of all sizes are requested, including a local business who will be featured as our headlining snow sponsor! There’s still a few weeks to secure these spots and gain all of the media exposure we have planned for your business” says President of the Foundation, Judy Mastro.
The SEED Foundation will be present at the upcoming October 9 and November 19 Brooksville Friday Night Live events where they will have vendor and sponsorship packets available. They have also announced offering free t-shirts when purchasing your event tickets and securing your vendor booths and sponsorships while at the event exclusively. To participate in Snow Bash, visitwww.TheSEEDFoundation.org for applications and additional information.
