Sarasota, Florida – October 12, 2020 – Fawley Bryant Architecture is proud to announce the growth of its leadership team with the promotion of Amanda Parrish to Chief Administrative Officer. The full-service architecture firm with offices in Sarasota and Bradenton is also thrilled to welcome new Senior Project Manager Nicholas (Nick) E. Carolla, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of multiple mid-sized to large projects.
As chief administrative officer, Parrish serves as a trusted advisor and manager of day-to-day operations, including team management, human resources, and building business partnerships and community relationships. She is also responsible for oversight and strategic planning for key administrative support elements of the organization, including technology, facilities, and marketing initiatives. Prior to her promotion, Parrish was the firm’s director of business.
“Since her arrival, Amanda has been instrumental in our growth and driving the firm’s culture,” said Steve Padgett, Principal and Managing Partner of Fawley Bryant Architecture. “She strives to leave everyone she works with feeling more optimistic, energized and valued. Amanda delivers.”
Parrish is on the board of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and a member of the Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Business Observer’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2019. Growing up in Shelby Township, Michigan, Parrish accepted a basketball scholarship to Spring Arbor University, where she achieved her degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Professional Writing. She recently graduated with a master’s in Organizational Leadership from Jacksonville University and currently lives in Bradenton with her husband and two young daughters.
Nick Carolla joined the Fawley Bryant team in September, relocating from Madison, Wisconsin, where he served as managing partner of Eric & Lee Architects & Planners. In his new role, Carolla is responsible for managing all activities, including participating in the design and drawing for a range of commercial and civic projects, preparing strategic plans for project success, and serving as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budget, and scope of work to completion.
“Nick specializes in leading high-performing teams made up of architects, engineers and consultants in a myriad of industries,” said Padgett. “He is just what we were looking for and a welcomed addition to the firm.”
Carolla received his associate’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Pittsburgh Technical Institute before earning his bachelor’s degree from Coastal Carolina University. He went on to earn his master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2015.
