St. Pete Voted Among 10 Best Big Cities in U.S. by Condé Nast Traveler Readers |
St. Petersburg, FL – Visit St. Pete/Clearwater along with St. Petersburg Mayor Kriseman announced the results of Condé Nast Traveler’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards – naming St. Pete the No. 10 Best Big City in the U.S. The popular travel magazine recognized the city for its cultural arts scene and proximity to area white sand beaches. More than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted a record-breaking number of responses, making this year’s honor especially noteworthy. This award comes on the heels of the new $92 million St. Pete Pier opening to major buzz and rave reviews in July. The Sunshine City ranked among well-known cities including Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. “Condé Nast Traveler has confirmed what 270,000 residents and millions of visitors know: The Sunshine City is one of the greatest cities in the world,” said St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman. “Our natural environment, arts and culture, culinary scene, and destinations like our dynamic new pier have helped St. Pete soar. My hope is that everyone will come visit us as we emerge from the pandemic. We’ll be shining brighter than ever.” ![]() ![]() |
