
Spring Hill & Brooksville, Florida (October 7, 2020) – Advanced Cancer Treatment Centers (ACTC), announces that it has been awarded a certificate of occupancy for its new treatment facility located at 15211 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613. (Just east of the Suncoast Parkway on State Road 50)
The facility was built at a cost of approximately $7 million and includes equipment at a cost of $3.5 million. Once completely operational it will employ a staff of 45 to 50 employees.
ACTC intends to transfer all of its medical and support staff and patients from its old facilities within the next 45 days. Cancer care services that will be available include but are not limited to medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and a wide range of other services.
A Certificate of Occupancy (CO) is issued for new construction in Florida. Businesses are usually required to obtain a certificate of occupancy prior to opening their doors to the public. Any individual that opens a place of business without a certificate of occupancy can be subjected to the penalties established by their local governing authority.

ACTC’s caregivers and staff offer support services including financial counselors to address the unique psychological and emotional challenges of cancer patients and their families. The center also features a dedicated research department for clinical trials.
