CSTB Adds Business Informational Sessions on How to Participate in the CARES ACT (Rapid Response Recovery R3) Program
~Businesses can learn how receive part of $21.5 million in federal funding~

TAMPA, FL – Employers who have employees working in Hillsborough County are eligible to take part in the Rapid Response Recovery R3 program. Employers can learn how they can earn up to $14,500 for every new employee hired with the retention bonus.

This is part of the Rapid Response Recovery (R3) program approved by the Hillsborough County Commissioners (BOCC) in an effort to reduce unemployment. The BOCC broadened the type of employers who can participate in the Rapid Response Recovery (R³) job training program in August, 2020. Now the program is open to any employer with a Hillsborough County worksite. That includes for-profit, not-for-profit businesses and public-governmental agencies.

CSTB will be holding an informational session about how employers and community partners can participate in the program. The Rapid Response Recovery (R3) program is operated by CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) with monies approved by Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners.
