Tampa, FL – Voices for Children is one of the Top 200 finalists in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist® Grant Program. State Farm Neighborhood Assist is a crowd- sourced philanthropic initiative that empowers communities to identify issues in their neighborhoods. Voices for Children has been selected by the State Farm Review Committee from 2,000 submissions.
By partnering with the Guardian ad Litem Program (GAL), Voices for Children (VFC) provides both basic needs and life enriching experiences for the more than 2,200 abused, neglected and abandoned children in Hillsborough County. VFC helps ease the trauma many of these children go through by providing items and experiences to help them feel as “normal” as possible while they are in foster care. The funds we receive help promote the education, health and emotional well-being of the children we serve.
Supporters can cast their vote to help Voices for Children win one of the 40 $25k grants offered by State Farm. Just a few clicks will make a lasting difference in the lives of the children who need us most. Please take a few minutes and remind them that you care!
