The SPIRITS of St. Petersburg is pleased to present the following events:
The SPIRITS of St. Petersburg will be participating in the World’s Largest Ghost Hunt on September 26—the official National Day of Ghost Hunting. The event is two-fold this year. The first part is open to the public. We will meet at Mirror Lake Park at 7 p.m. to explore this historic area where, according to urban legend, a ghostly woman appears. The second event is closed to a small group of SPIRITS members is slated for later that evening at a private location in downtown St. Petersburg. Both sessions will be presented via live-stream, tune into our SPIRITS of St. Petersburg Facebook to watch. The event is free to watch or attend, though we do encourage anyone who can to offer a love offering to Preserve the Burg in order to maintain the haunted homes of several supernatural denizens in this area.
The SPIRITS of St. Petersburg also invites you to browse our Little Free Library of Supernatural Stuff, which offers a variety of supernatural literature, from ghostly lore and how-to manuals, to spooky murder mysteries and paranormal fiction. The little library can be found outside the entrance to the ArtLofts studios on 5th St. North, around the corner from the Florida CraftArt Gallery. The new LFL stand box was donated by the Tampa Bay Times as part of the St. Pete Shush project, and the item was decorated with creepy art by the artists of ArtLofts.
