St. Petersburg, Fl – The Pinellas County Young Republicans (PCYRs) once again show their strength and determination in electing Republicans up and down the ballot. The PCYR’s are one of only a handful in the state that has already surpassed their nationally assigned goal. Their grassroots activism continues to show the popularity of conservative values among young people in Pinellas County.
With a large slate of exciting electable candidates, such as Anna Paulina Luna in FL-13, throughout Pinellas County the PCYRS are energized as never before.
In addition, The PCYRs are excited to have been selected to host Florida’s only National Deployment during the 2020 election cycle. In a joint Get-Out-The-Vote effort in conjunction with the Young Republicans National Federation and the Florida Federation of Young Republicans, the PCYRs will welcome Young Republicans from across the country the weekend of October 15th to promote our national state, and local candidates.
Over the course of the weekend, this National Deployment will see an unprecedented amount of conservative activism and voter contacts throughout Pinellas County.
“We are thrilled to see that those on the national level recognize the importance of conservative activism here in battleground Pinellas County,” said PCYR President Jerick Johnston. “We look forward to having a socially distant yet immensely productive deployment here in Pinellas County. This deployment only goes to highlight the importance of Pinellas County on a national and state level.”
