Southwest Florida Developer drives positive growth and development to north Manatee County with latest expansion of mixed-use master-planned community
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (September 10, 2020) – Neal Land & Neighborhoods, a Manatee and Sarasota-based master-planned community developer, announces the opening of a new neighborhood at North River Ranch, located in Parrish. The new neighborhood, Riverfield, marks continued growth and expansion of the multi-phase development, meeting the increased demand for housing in the Southwest Florida area.
Located south of Moccasin Wallow Road and Fort Hamer Road in North River Ranch, the Riverfield neighborhood of North River Ranch will feature three- and four-bedroom single-family homes and townhomes by renowned and respected homebuilders, David Weekley Homes and Neal Communities. Builders will release homesites for sale over phases, with early anticipated average home sale prices for the initial phase falling in the mid-$200s.
“As our cycle of growth continues to expand, we’re excited to deliver on our vision to create a place with a foundation for traditional neighborhood values, while demonstrating our strategy to drive economic growth, area development and improvement to the local community,” said John A. Neal, President of Neal Land & Neighborhoods.
Appealing to a multi-generational audience, the Riverfield neighborhood will provide residents with easy access to all of the North River Ranch amenities, including the community’s expansive trail system. The walkable and bikeable trail network is heavily integrated into Riverfield, offering convenient access to the Greenway’s FitStations which complement the FitPod at nearby Brightwood Pavilion. The community’s bike share program will also be available at a number of locations throughout Riverfield.
Further, the new neighborhood runs contiguous to the future Market Square with grocery store and supporting retail, plus the new Barbara A. Harvey Elementary School – and will include walking paths leading directly to the school.
Open to all residents of North River Ranch, the neighborhood will also be home to the future Riverfield Verandah. The pool and verandah building are currently in final design and permit stages, with a scheduled completion of late 2020.
David Weekley Homes, the first builder in the United States to be awarded the Triple Crown of American Home Building – an honor which includes “America’s Best Builder,” the “National Housing Quality Award” and “National Builder of the Year”— will be offering single-family homes ranging from 1,722 to 2,858 square feet. Model construction is scheduled to begin within the next 30 days, with completion anticipated for late October. Pricing to follow.
Neal Communities, regarded as Southwest Florida’s largest and most established locally-owned and operated private company, is bringing a new townhome design to North River Ranch. Priced from the high $190s, the two-story, three-bedroom designs provide an attractive option for first-time home buyers, as well as young families, local professionals and hometown heroes alike. The first units and model are currently under construction, with completion slated for late December.
