
Sarasota/Manatee, FL — JFCS of the Suncoast’s Healthy Families / Healthy Children Program partnered with Legal Aid of Manasota to offer free online webinars to share information about the COVID-19 eviction moratorium. Attorneys will discuss the current eviction moratorium and how it impacts individuals and families in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Information presented will include:
· Who is covered under the COVID-19 eviction moratorium?
· How are individuals and families protected?
· What is the timeframe for protection?
· What are the steps in the process?
· What if you are facing a foreclosure action?
· There will be time for questions and answers during the session.
The online informational sessions will be offered in English and Spanish. English sessions are on Wednesday, August 26, 6 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, August 27, 11 a.m. to noon. A Spanish session will be offered on Thursday, August 27, 6 to 7 p.m.
