| SARASOTA FL: Laura Weber Garrison PhD, a Holistic Health Counselor who specializes in treating abuse and trauma, has announced that in-person support groups have resumed in her Sarasota office and that registration is now open for the October Empowered Transitions Group. The Empowered Transitions Group offers support around trauma, abuse, PTSD, and life situations that are challenging and/or grief-based. Within the context of the group, participants work to identify and alleviate the underlying sources and subconscious blocks that may be holding them back from moving forward. The core focus of the group is that of healing holistically in a safe, structured, private, and supportive environment. Groups are limited in size and run for six weeks per session. The next group session will begin on October 7. Dr. Garrison has over two decades of experience working with challenged and at-risk populations and is certified as an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist. With a Doctorate in Holistic Health, Garrison specializes in integrative yoga-based, mind-body therapeutics, is a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and is certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists as a Yoga Therapist.
