DETAILS: The public is invited to discuss books and movies in elevated conversations about racial issues. The goal is to improve race relations as we grow in understanding.
The following discussions have been scheduled to date:
- 13th (movie) – Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.
- How to be an Anti-Racist (book) by Ibram X. Kendi – Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
- Just Mercy (movie) – Thursday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m.
- So You Want to Talk About Race by (book) by Ijeoma Oluo – Friday, Nov. 20 at noon
