Tampa, FL – Bayshore Podiatry Center, located at 508 South Habana Avenue, officially gained a husband and wife team of foot and ankle surgeons, bolstering the center’s growing operations.
Dr. James Repko and Dr. Saleena Niehaus, who met while completing their doctorate degrees at the Kent State University School of Podiatric Medicine, recently took over management of the Tampa podiatric group. The duo brings new techniques, offering custom orthotics, diagnostic ultrasound and shockwave treatment in their office.
“I love working alongside my husband everyday. We learn from each other and push each other to be the best physicians we can become”, Dr. Niehaus says. “We care about our patients, the community we live in and hope that we continue to grow our skills and the practice we are now lucky enough to be part of”, Dr. Repko adds.
Seasoned podiatrist and Bayshore Podiatry founder Dr. Gerald Cosentino is equally excited for the addition. “I think it’s a great opportunity for a young couple to continue the legacy of my practice. I have complete confidence in them. I have seen how hard they work and how well trained they are,” Dr. Cosentino states.
Dr. Niehaus completed her surgical residency at Aultman-Alliance Community Hospital, in Alliance, Ohio. She is board certified by the American board of Podiatric Medicine, and the American Board of Wound Management. She specializes in sports medicine, wound care, and foot surgery. Dr. Repko completed his surgical residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Mercy Regional Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is fellowship trained by the Third Military Hospital of China and an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Repko specializes in sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
