TAMPA—The Tampa Tiger Bay Club will host back-to-back virtual forums Aug. 7 at noon featuring candidates in three legislative primary races.
The first forum will feature candidates in the State House 70 universal primary: Democrats Keisha Bell, Michelle Grimsley, Mark Oliver and Michele K. Rayner. A universal primary is open to all voters, regardless of party affiliation.
The second forum will begin at approximately 12:45 and feature the Republican House District 59 primary with Danny Kushmer. Republican Michael Owen declined to participate.
The third forum will begin at approximately 1 p.m. and feature the Republican state Senate District 21 primary with John Manners Houman. Republican Jim Boyd declined to participate.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be shown live beginning on tigerbayclub.com, Facebook (facebook.com/tigerbaytampa) and the Tampa Bay Arts and Entertainment Spectrum channel 636 & Frontier channel 34.
