TAMPA, Fla. (August 3, 2020) — Forbes named Suncoast Credit Union (Suncoast) a Top-10 Credit Union in Florida, and the highest-ranked credit union in Southwest Florida, according to its annual list of America’s Best Credit Unions. Of the nation’s 5,236 credit unions surveyed, Suncoast ranks in the top 3.5%.

Forbes surveyed more than 25,000 people nationwide about their banking relationships. Credit unions were rated on overall recommendations satisfaction, including: trust, branch services, digital services, financial advice, and terms and conditions.
According to Forbes, “Members-only credit unions typically have lower fees and offer better interest rates than traditional banks, and the nonprofit model where the members are the owners puts the customer first, resulting in higher levels of satisfaction.”
