Durisan, a U.S. manufacturer of sanitizing products for commercial and residential use that are human, animal and earth-friendly, has named Joseph Antoun, Ph.D., the Chief Scientific Officer.
A clinician and researcher, Antoun earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in France. After more than 10 years in the cosmetics industry, Antoun dedicated a decade to academic research and the clinics at Vanderbilt University. With his knowledge and experience, he will help Durisan continue to develop safe and innovative products.
Durisan’s CEO Troy Daland, a retired U.S. military veteran, also announced the addition of Michelle Noël as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Noël brings 30 years of experience to the Sarasota-based manufacturer.
Noël holds a B.S. in Management from Plymouth State University and has extensive experience selling and marketing products to retailers in the U.S. She’s led product development and packaging and implementation initiatives. Her sourcing experience also brings a critical skill set to the company.
Daland additionally announced the designation of Mónica Torres to Staff Accountant. Torres is a retired veteran with six years as a Medical Supply Specialist and a B.S. in Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Marketing from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Her role at Durisan will encompass accounting and financial review.
