Tampa, Fla. – To protect the health and safety of community members and staff, University Area CDC facilities and properties will be closed through August 9. This includes the University Area Community Center Complex, Computer Lab, Mort Park and Harvest Hope Park. All programming, including Dreamcatchers summer camps, has been suspended through this time.
Realizing the importance that University Area CDC programs play in the lives of many of the area’s residents, the organization has developed, and continues to develop, online classes and videos to help ease the burden through this uncertain time.
Prodigy® Cultural Arts Program instructors have developed more than 40 video tutorials on the following topics: life skills, painting, drawing, dancing, bass guitar, the shaker and more. They are all available at uacdc.org/prodigyonline. More Prodigy® videos are being developed on a variety of subjects, and will be added weekly.
