TAMPA, FL – Career Source Tampa Bay, the regions workforce development board is launching an innovative as way to provide virtual service and engagement to unemployed job seekers in Hillsborough County who were impacted as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. CSTB has contracted with Career EDGE, a web-based platform to deliver virtual career services to individuals of all ages is coming to the Tampa and Hillsborough County area on June 15, 2020.
“We have been working diligently over the past few months to implement a robust virtual services platform, said CEO John Flanagan. “We want to ensure that CSTB aligns our service delivery model to be available to assist our customers and that we are doing everything we can to help during this crisis.”
Access to Career EDGE is provided at www.careeredgecstb.com. New users simply register for an account by entering in basic contact information and answer a few eligibility questions. Registration takes less than one minute, after which if the user meets eligibility, they will have immediate access to all modules and services within the CareerSource Tampa Bay Career EDGE platform.
The Career EDGE program consists of 18 interactive modules with built-in virtual coaching including a job interview simulator, resume and job application builder, guidance in developing a personal brand, and essential life skills curriculum to support career seekers in preparation for finding a job or advance in employment.
