Professional Systems Printing & Promos in collaboration with First Home Bank & Working Women of Tampa Bay provided almost 3000 reusable tote bags to support Feeding Tampa Bay. The reusable bags will provide a practical tool to distribute food to those in need.
Nationally, Feeding America distributes more than 50,300,000 meals as millions of children and families face hunger and food insecurity every day. In the Tampa Bay area, 1 in 8 people and 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger.
“We are honored to partner with organizations in Tampa Bay to make this community donation,” said David Lanning, Vice President, Professional Systems Printing & Promos. “Alongside Feeding Tampa Bay, our team is focused on helping families and individuals facing hunger during the pandemic and in the future,” said Valerie Fulbright, Vice President, Community Engagement Officer at First Home Bank. “My father is a army veteran and we know that a lot of vets face homelessness and hunger so this is a way to help out those that served and the community at large while they get back on their feet,” said Carla Robinson, AVP, Professional Systems Printing and Promos.
Feeding America has responded to communities struggling with food insecurities for more than 40 years and has been vital during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has magnified the need for hunger relief in the Tampa Bay area and across the country.
