Tampa, FL – Bite Squad, the on-demand restaurant delivery service, purchased and delivered free lunches today to frontline healthcare professionals at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. This is just the first delivery to hospital staffs this week in Tampa.
“So many lives have been disrupted here in Tampa and throughout the country. We all count on the frontline workers to help us get through this,” said Carl Grimstad, CEO. “We know the hospital workers are the ones dealing directly with the patients, so we are honored to have an opportunity – and a responsibility – to do what we can to help those in the areas we serve.”
The new initiative is part of Bite Squad’s re-entry into Tampa. The food delivery service returns with an enhanced variety of restaurant choices for diners at home. Now offering no-contact delivery, Bite Squad has begun delivering from 650 Tampa area restaurants. Bite Squad is also available in St. Petersburg and Clearwater.
Notable Tampa restaurants partnering with Bite Squad include Jerk Hut, BurgerFi, Five Guys, Village Inn, Acropolis Greek Taverna, Tijuana Flats, La Perrada Colombiana, Origami Sushi, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and Firehouse Subs.
