May 13, 2020 (ST. PETERSBURG, FL) — Clarifire, a leader in workflow automation, announces that University of South Florida (USF) Health has chosen CLARIFIRE® as a workflow automation platform for its College of Nursing. CLARIFIRE is an innovative workflow software that standardizes, simplifies, and improves manual processes. By leveraging system flexibility and automation, USF Health will better prepare its nursing students to gain experience with the same technologies used in the modern healthcare space.
USF Health selected the CLARIFIRE workflow solution to better prepare students for the business end of healthcare, something necessary for all licensed caregivers working in the industry today. In addition to strong clinical skills, the students will be hard-wired on how to use technology that improves outcomes and processes.
This means they not only will gain practical experience with the clinical aspects of their role, but also will learn to interact with patients using innovative technologies designed to standardize best practices and evidence-based protocols. CLARIFIRE will provide students with healthcare business competencies for using technology, patient experience and safety, and evidence-based practices. At the USF Health
College of Nursing, senior students will begin using CLARIFIRE HEALTH® during their clinical practicum experiences as a strategy to ensure that quality and safety competencies are met.
“The efficiency and flexibility that the workflow application offers will allow us to utilize across many areas and were key factors in our decision to collaborate with Clarifire,” said Usha Menon, PhD, RN, FAAN, interim dean of the College of Nursing.
“We’re excited to work with a like-minded company that shares a focus on technology and provides a modern approach to workflow automation.”
“The passion that USF Health has to leverage technology that elevates the healthcare industry aligns perfectly with our vision and groundbreaking technology used by leaders in the healthcare industry today. As a USF alumna, I am thrilled that our workflow application will play a role in educating students on how to improve quality processes using technology as a tool. It isn’t just about better education for students; it’s about providing healthcare organizations with new graduates who are ready to
become leaders and raise the bar for everyone. We look forward to expanding our collaboration to automate other workflows within USF. The forward-thinking approach taken by USF will continue to set them apart as thought leaders and visionaries,” said Jane Mason, CEO of Clarifire.
