TAMPA, FL (May 7, 2020)—For the first time in its nearly 40-year history, the Tampa Tiger Bay Club will present a virtual meeting May 15, featuring Hillsborough County legislators discussing the regular session and the impact of the pandemic.
The meeting, free and open to the public, will be shown live at noon on tigerbayclub.com, Facebook (facebook.com/tigerbaytampa) and the Tampa Bay Arts and Education Spectrum channel 636 & Frontier channel 34. Although there is no cost to view the program, the Tiger Bay Club is requesting donations to help defray monthly costs.
The forum will focus on the recent regular session and what the Legislature plans to do in response to the pandemic. Confirmed speakers are Democratic state Rep. Fentrice Driskell, Republican state Rep. James Grant and Democratic state Sen. Darryl Rouson. Other panelist invitations are pending.
