Brooksville, Florida (May 7, 2020) – Pine Brook Pharmacy continues its tradition of service excellence during these difficult times by donating much needed hand sanitizer to eight Hernando based organizations. They were able to secure a supply from their vendor with the express intention to donate the hand sanitizer to the community.
The organizations that have received the hand sanitizer are as follows:
- Hernando County Sheriff’s Department
- Hernando County Fire Rescue
- The Dawn Center
- Jericho Road Ministries
- Arc of the Nature Coast
- St. Vincent DePaul
- Early Learning Coalition
- Mid-Florida Homeless Coalition
The first two are obvious since they are the first responders to our community and go through a significant amount of hand sanitizer that is very difficult to find in these times. The other six are major organizations supported by United Way of Hernando County and they were most helpful in the distribution process. Pine Brook Pharmacies chain of community-based pharmacies is proud to have helped in this way.
Each customers’ health, safety and well-being are their main concern as they strive for service excellence with each transaction. This goes for organizations providing local support for several thousand community members by keeping them healthy during this pandemic.
The key to their success is living by the motto of absolute service offered up by Mahatma Gandhi’: “A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.”
Gautam Thakkar, founder and owner of the chain of pharmacies continues to look for new avenues to serve his clients each day thru additional services such as the Medpak system that packages all your meds, free diabetic supplies, free in-home consultations, free dose reminders, compounding, Spanish speaking pharmacist, labeling in Spanish etc., and of course they accept all major insurance companies.
