20lb boxes filled with a mix of seasonal fresh picked, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, potatoes, green squash, yellow crookneck squash, onions, and cabbage (yours may vary slightly) are available right now for $22.50. These same boxes are available to purchase as a donation to our local food banks.
Clearwater, Florida – Farms are having to dump fresh food, and plow under crops. This is an opportunity to help them, help yourself, and help families in need. A real win-win-win.
Buyfarmfood.com has been set up as an online portal to allow these boxes of fresh produce to be purchased and made available for pickup at locations in Clearwater, Palm Harbor, and Tampa. Just go to buyfarmfood.com and buy a box of food for your family, and one for a donation. (if you are able) The available pickup times, dates, and locations are listed there in the checkout process. Produce must be ordered two days before the pickup is scheduled to allow for the packing of boxes and to transport them to the pickup location. Social distancing per CDC guidelines will be enforced at the pickup site.
