(March 18, 2020—Tampa, FL) — This summer, Side Bar + Mind Bar is opening in the heart of South Tampa. Side Bar is a community-driven coffee shop, and tucked right behind the shop is Mind Bar, a private meditation and mindfulness studio. Owned by Balaji and Heather Ramadoss, the business prides itself on being family-owned and operated, and it will be the first concept of its kind in the area.
“For a truly balanced life, you need both community and solitude. Side Bar and Mind Bar cater to each of those needs,” says Heather Ramadoss, co-founder. “We want this business in South Tampa because of the area’s commitment to growth and community. Our family calls this city home, and I’m so excited to welcome everyone into the space.”
Side Bar will serve fresh coffee and offer tasty bites from local vendors. The shop will display work from local artists while housing a small “free” library for little ones. Side Bar will also host monthly events to facilitate community among residents.
Mind Bar will offer daily meditation sessions. With an emphasis on making mindfulness practices available to everyone, the space welcomes people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Side Bar and Mind Bar are located at 4247 W. Bay to Bay Blvd. Tampa, Fl 33629.
