PETERSBURG, FLORIDA – March 6, 2020 – Brokers and staff of local luxury real estate shop Engel & Völkers St. Pete grabbed their bikes and joined hundreds of other bike riders on a police-escorted tweed themed bike parade around the city. Engel & Völkers is known to feature their white and red city bikes in front of many of their shops around the globe. These bikes aren’t simply for decoration, but they’re functional and ready to use.
St. Petersburg, FL is a bike-friendly city with bike paths, trails, and even street lanes allowing bikers to move about safely throughout the city. This year was the 9th Annual St. Pete Tweed Ride and Gala which took place at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, established in 1924, in Downtown St. Petersburg. Proceeds for this event support the work and mission of the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.
Matthew Erickson, broker for Engel & Völkers St. Pete, is an avid biker and strong supporter for the growth and progression of St. Petersburg communities. He promoted this popular city event amongst the downtown-based Engel & Völkers brokerage so others too would support and participate.
