Valentine’s Day may have started with some clouds and rain, but it quickly turned into a beautifully sunny day, just in time for the wedding at the Florida Botanical Gardens. During the Clerk’s 14th Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding event, 36 couples were married, and 13 couples renewed their wedding vows. Love was also in the air at the Clerk’s office locations as a total of 43 weddings were officiated at their North County Branch, St. Petersburg Branch, and Downtown Clearwater office.
“The display of love was remarkable and truly the best part of hosting such a meaningful community event,” said the organizer of the event, Ken Burke, Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. “We thank all the couples for allowing us to be part of their big day and wish them eternal bliss.”
The couples and their guests were serenaded with romantic songs performed by Clerk and Pinellas County employees, along with a cappella melodies performed by the Charmonizers Barbershop Quartet. Afterward, everyone celebrated with wedding cake and refreshments provided by local sponsors.
