The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department presents the sixth installment of the Free Concert Series for 2019/2020 Season on March 7, 2020

New Port Richey, FL (March 7, 2020) Free Concert in Sims Park (6431 Bank Street) on March 7th, 2020 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Phil Dirt & the Dozers, a Vintage Rock N’ Roll Tribute

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department  is proud to present the 2019/2020 Concert Series bringing music lovers of all ages to the downtown’s focal point, beautiful Sims Park, to enjoy a free concert in an outdoor setting. The sixth installment of the concert series will be the Phil Dirt & the Dozers, a tribute to Vintage Rock N’ Roll! Phil Dirt & the Dozers are an amazing tribute band composed of musicians, and singers that bring the musical excellence of Vintage Rock N’ Roll back to your downtown amphitheater.  This high energy show will get you out of your chair singing along with some of Rock N’ Roll’s greatest hits! This group has played at Sim Park previously as “Surfs Up” who performed their tribute to the Beach Boys. Their impressive work has brought them around the country performing songs from groups such as; The Beach Boys, the Eagles, Frank Vali, the Temptations, and Jan & Dean. Mark Frye, the lead singer for Phil Dirt & the Dozers has previously earned TWO Emmy Awards for his original soundtracks and has continued to perform for thousands of fans everywhere!

These concerts are presented without cost to the audience by the City of New Port Richey, so bring the entire family, chairs, blankets, and be ready for a musically good time!  Light concert snacks will be available for sale from local businesses and everyone is encouraged to dine at one of our many downtown restaurants prior to the concert or stop in for an after concert libation at one of our microbreweries, pubs or clubs. Limited seating is provided but please feel free to bring your own chairs. Although pets on leashes are welcome in Sims Park, it is veterinary recommended that you leave your pets at home for this event.

The New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatics Center will also be offering aFREE Park and Ride Service beginning at 6 P.M. to transport you safely to Sims Park, and the last shuttle will leave Sims to return to the NPR RAC promptly at 9:30 P.M. Be sure to utilize this service for hassle free parking to and from the concert!
