Tampa, Florida : Ybor city based Cigar City Humidors announced today premarket efforts in advance of their planned launch of four lines of premium cigars in the United States later in 2020. The cigars, manufactured by one of the oldest cigar manufacturers in North America, will be distributed exclusively by Cigar City Humidors by BCIC and available to select distribution by Q4, 2020.
According to recent industry statistics, premium cigar imports are at a level not seen in the United States since 1998. 330 million premium cigars were shipped to the U.S in 2017 alone, creating a resurgence of the popularity of premium cigars. Cigar City Humidors forecasts compound annual growth rates (CAGR) of aggregate domestic imports of 4% per year through 2025.
Cigar City Humidors plans to host an invitation only launch party later this summer, where the brands and blends will be unveiled. Meanwhile, the company is meeting with select retailers for a sneak preview and sample tasting in anticipation of the upcoming launch.
