TAMPA (Feb. 4, 2020)—Millennials, already the largest age group in the country, are poised to change the face of politics. But will they vote in the same numbers as their older counterparts?
The impact of millennials on politics will be the subject of a special Tampa Tiger Bay Club After Dark gathering at the Cuban Club on Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will include a panel discussion featuring Devan Cheaves, a political organizer and training director; Andrea Couvertier of the Tampa Bay Young Republicans; Nestor Ortiz, president and CEO of 16 Point Compass Consulting; and Akash Patel, president of Elevate Inc.
The meeting will be at the Cuban Club, 2010 North Avenida Republica De Cuba (14th Street). A cash bar will open at 5 p.m., appetizers will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 6 p.m. The cost is $18. Only members can ask questions. Annual memberships are $75.
