Sarasota, Florida – January 28, 2020 – UBS Financial Services Inc. announced today that Scott Zelniker, Senior Vice President –Private Wealth Management and co-founder of The Zelniker Dorfman Heritage Group in Sarasota, has been named to the 2020 Forbes/SHOOK list of Best-in-State Wealth Advisors for the state of New York.
“I’m honored and humbled by this recognition. To me it validates the hard work I have put in on behalf of my clients, who are like family to me,” said Zelniker. “I’m excited to bring my experience to Florida as we continue to evolve to provide the highest level of financial advice to our clients.”
After dividing his time between New York and Florida for the past 15 years, Zelniker now calls the Suncoast home. He recently joined forces with Jason Hughes to form The Zelniker Dorfman Heritage Group, offering clients the resources of the world’s largest wealth management firm, and the concierge service you would expect from a boutique firm. The team manages nearly $1 billion of client assets.
Zelniker began his career in financial services in April of 1992 and joined UBS in 2016. Along the way, he developed a practice working extensively with private business owners with the focus on exit planning, asset management, estate planning and meeting the multigenerational needs of families. Zelniker has taken active roles in the community and continues to make supporting local organizations a core tenet of The Zelniker Dorfman Heritage Group.
The Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list is comprised of approximately 2,200 financial advisors. It was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to measure factors such as: quality of practice, industry experience, compliance record, assets under management (which vary from state to state) and revenue. Neither UBS Financial Services Inc. or its employees pay a fee in exchange for these ratings. Past performance is not an indication of future results. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC and not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience.
