Ground-Breaking at Kathleen Square in Lakeland, Florida
Tampa, Florida (January 22, 2020)— Redstone Investments has started construction this month on a new Publix Shopping Center at the Northwest corner of Kathleen Road and Duff Road in Lakeland, Florida. The 48,387 square foot Publix grocer as the anchor of a 58,787 square foot shopping center located at Kathleen Square. Burger King will also be located on an out parcel.
Over the past few years, the Lakeland market has seen vast increases in retail development. In 2019 the Lakeland retail inventory was at a record high for the first time since the year 2008.
