St. Petersburg, FL (January 30, 2020) – St. Pete First Art Collective is honored to host Flights of Fancy, a solo art exhibition by Charla Y. Giglio. The opening reception will be at ArtWalk, Saturday February 8th, from 5 PM to 8 PM in the Chapel Gallery.
Charla has participated in many shows throughout the Tampa Bay area. In addition to her Art Career she is also the Chair, Visual Arts and and instructor in Arts & Humanities at Shorecrest Preparatory School here in St. Petersburg Florida.
Her paintings are vivid and bright, others are serene and heavenly. The images are her attempt to capture and make meaning of moments; memories and dreams rendered in oils and made visible. Eyes and the concept of sight – both inner and exterior vision – play significant roles in her paintings.
The exhibition will run through February 23rd, on Sunday 8 am to 1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm to 8pm.
