January 8, 2020 by Post

TAMPA, Fla. – The award-winning ForCare Clinical Research (FCR) seeks people with hidradenitis suppurativa for a clinical study meant to improve the lives of those with this painful condition.

Hidradenitis suppurativa, also known as HS, is a skin condition that causes small, painful lumps under the skin. HS lesions typically occur in areas of the body where skin rubs together, such as the armpits and groin.

Qualified participants may receive compensation for time and travel; be seen by a dermatologist at no cost and have access to medication for hidradenitis suppurativa.

To qualify for this clinical trial, applicants must be between 18 to 75 years of age, be diagnosed with HS for at least one year, have HS lesions in at least two areas of the body, and must not be diagnosed with any other significant skin conditions.
